MLA creates opportunities for livestock supply chains from their combined investments to build demand and productivity. Most of MLA's funding comes from transaction levies placed on the sale of livestock, with the Australian Government providing matched funding for levy investment in most R&D.
LiveAir is an organisation which represents stakeholders in the live export of livestock process. LiveAir was originally founded to provide support in aspects of regulation and formulation of Standards. It has played a vital part in the construction and revision of the standards for airfreight as contained in the Australian Standards for the export of Livestock.
Animal Health Australia works to protect and improve animal health within Australia. This is done through partnerships with industries and governments which help keep Australia disease free, build the sustainability of our livestock industries and promote humane use of animals for food, companionship, recreation and sport.
