About Us

Austock Rural was formed in February 1992 by David Gardiner.  In the inital stages Austock specialised in livestock identification products.  Over the years this has grown to include animal health and companion animal products sold through a network of distributors and retailers across the country.

In February 2007 David sold the tagging component of the business.  The focus of the new Austock Rural is to enable primary producers to enhance the efficiency of their livestock product and management.  David continues to manage Austock Rural specialising in the following areas;

• Distribution of AVID range of Microchips and Readers
• Distribution of the StockGuard Electric Fencing product range
• Export of superior livestock
• Providing rural consulting services

Our vision is to create future solutions for agriculture, to ensure a sustainable and profitable rural environment.  As always, we will continue to provide a prompt, reliable and quality service to our clients.
